Kúpna sila (Purchasing Power) : vyjadrenie množstva tovarov a služieb, ktoré môžu Byť obstarané za určitú sumu. Čím vyššia je kúpna sila menovej jednotky, tým viac tovarov a služieb sa dá zaobstarať. Kúpna sila je používaná na porovnanie rôznych menových jednotiek alebo sily tej istej meny v rozličných obdobiach.

Purchasing Power: an expression of the amount of goods and services that can be acquired for a certain sum. The higher the purchasing power of a unit of currency, the more goods can be acquired for it.
