Opcia (Option): právo (možnosť, ale nie povinnosť), získané za určitý poplatok (prémiu), na nákup alebo predaj určitého množstva komodít alebo cenných papierov za určitú cenu počas určitej doby. Ak nie je právo využité počas určenej doby, prémia sa nevracia.
