Vývozná kvóta (Export Quota): maximálne povolené množstvo produkcie určenej na vývoz (predaného zahraničným osobám). Môže byť stanovovaná unilaterálnym rozhodnutím krajiny alebo medzinárodnou dohodou.
Exportné kvóty sú používané buď na ochranu exportu lokálnych zdrojov, ktorých je nedostatok alebo na čelenie nebezpečenstvu ich odčerpávania. Sú taktiež často stanovované na ochranu záujmov producentov importujúcej krajiny. Exportné kvóty vždy obmedzujú voľný obchod medzi krajinami a efektívnu distribúciu zdrojov.

Export Quota: the maximum allowed volume of production to be exported (sold to foreign persons). It may be set by a unilateral decision of a country or by an international agreement. Export quotas are used either to prevent the export of local resources of which there is a shortage or to counter the danger of exhausting them. They are also often set to protect the interests of the producers of the importing country. In all cases, export quotas restrict free trade between countries, and efficient distribution of resources.
